Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin (born April 15th, 1977) is an American writer, director, comedian and podcaster. She is also a vocal advocate for mental health. Her prior job was a journalist at BuzzFeed Video. She left the organization in 2015 to start her comedian YouTube channel Just Between Us with Gabe Dunn as a co-writer. Raskin, born in Manhattan on 20 June 1989 to an Jewish parents who raised her in the home of her father and mother. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California. Jamin Ben Raskin born December 13, 1963 is an American lawyer and professor of law who served as an U.S. congressman for Maryland's eighth congressional district, since the year the year 2017. A law professor served as the prosecutor-in-chief for President the second impeachment hearing of President Trump. Rep. Jamie Raskin will not be running for the vacant Senate seat in Maryland. Instead, he will run for reelection a member of the House. He hopes to become the chairman of that House Oversight and Accountability Committee. Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac as well as other wealthy suburbs in The Washington, D.C. area are all part of the district.
