Jeanie Marie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss) is an American woman in business. she is currently president as well as the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss born in California was raised with an affluent life. Jerry Buss, her father, was an entrepreneur in real estate who eventually became the proprietor of Lakers Entertainment and Sports. The emotional strain she felt was exacerbated as her parents divorced in 1972. Her family's business was started at the age of 19 to become the general manager for the Los Angeles Strings tennis team. Later she created the Los Angeles Blades pro roller hockey team. Her first role was vice-president of the Lakers before taking on the position of president of the Great Western Forum.
